Orthognatic (jaw) surgery

Orthognatic surgeries are the procedures utilized to reposition malaligned jaws thereby correcting, in a single procedure, malocclusion and obtaining facial balance and optimal masticatory function. These procedures are performed in association with an orthodontic treatment (braces). Properly aligned teeth are essential in obtaining optimal esthetics and functional results.
